DSCSA Compliance as a Service: T3 Verification

ConsortiEX is proud to announce T3 verification, the newest feature to be added to our DSCSA Compliance as a Service (CaaS) module. The T3 Verification process gives pharmacies maximum visibility to all T3 transactions, both electronic and paper, received by their pharmacy.

Under the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), health system pharmacies are required to receive, verify, and validate that they have complete transaction information, transaction history, transaction statement or T3 data for the products they received.  To do this, hospital pharmacies must compare the physical product, including the standardized numeric identifier, lot, and expiration date now incorporated in the product identifier, to the T3 document.

One of our goals was to present a seamless way for hospitals to verify their T3 transaction data without forcing a change to their entire workflow. We want our software solutions to work for you, not the other way around.

So that’s exactly what we did. With visual cues signaling verified, suspect, or returned product, it has never been easier to manage your transactions.

What sets our T3 verification solution apart from our competitors is that it is entirely optional and designed to save you time and eliminate unnecessary processes. Your T3 transaction data will continue to flow into our database regardless of if they have been verified or not. We know that in the healthcare industry every second counts; we want to give you time to focus on what really matters… patient safety.

The T3 verification feature is currently being piloted with interested health systems and has received overwhelmingly positive feedback.  We are anticipating a full-scale release in the coming months.

Stay tuned for coming updates and make sure to follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn to stay as up to date on DSCSA.
